The following procedures must be followed to ensure quick and correct processing of claims in Scandinavia:
(In case of damage outside Scandinavia, follow the procedure stated in the insurance certificate.)
Examine the goods on receipt and note any visible damage and defects on bill of carriage/receipt. Confirm the complaint in writing.
NEVER SUBMIT A CLEAN RECEIPT IN CASE OF VISIBLE DAMAGE/DEFECTS!
Examine the goods immediately on receipt for any non-visible damage/defects and make the carrier responsible in writing.

Ship - 3 days, Road/rail - 7 days, Air - 14 days

Take the necessary steps to limit the damage.
Submit the written claim enclosing:
invoice for the entire shipment, inspection report (if any), bill of lading and/or bill of carriage: rail/road/air, customs, port and warehouse receipts, copy of complaint to carrier, insurance policy/certificate (if any).
